Great write-up, more of these please.

Wash it, ride it, repeat.

I trust a used bike after a good inspection, not a number.

Soft luggage for the rough, hard for the city.

Value is not the same as cheap.

Warm core, warm hands - start with the liner.

New rider, mostly city and weekend backroads, maybe a little gravel. The Interceptor twin is smoother on the highway; the Himalayan is more forgiving off pavement. Which would you point a beginner toward?

Following, because I want to know too.

For twisty roads and confidence, the Interceptor. The Himalayan is charming but slow when you want to enjoy a mountain pass.

If there is any dirt in your future, Himalayan. It teaches you to ride relaxed, which is the best beginner habit there is.

Interceptor. Comfortable, cheap to run, and it sounds better than it has any right to.

Name every one of them, no shame.
