Fair, but fit trumps flag for me.
Solid advice, wish someone told me sooner.
From over here it looks very different.
A simple, gorgeous, torquey little single that sells everywhere except America. It is exactly the honest bike new riders keep asking for. Is it emissions, margins, or Honda just reading the US as a big-bike market?
Margins and dealer floor space, mostly. A cheap single is hard to sell profitably next to a Rebel 500. The market reads Americans as up-sell targets.

Here it is the perfect city bike. I do not understand why the US only imports the loud and the large.
You can import one once it is 25 years old, or grey-market with a lot of paperwork. I have run the math and it is rarely worth it for a budget bike.
